The annual Little Forest Playschool Corporation Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 PM at Little Forest Playschool. As a parent-cooperative, all families and staff are members of the corporation and are encouraged to attend. At this meeting the budget will be reviewed, the new budget will be presented for approval, and by-laws will be reviewed. Please join us

Staff Training/Early Closure
On April 24, 25, and 26 (TWTh) LFP will close at 4 PM to allow our staff to attend the 6 hour “Quality Early Childhood Education for ALL” training sessions being offered at SFCC. This professional development class is mandated for all centers who seek the 3-star or higher quality rating. We appreciate your understanding and supporting our staff in their efforts to maintain a high quality childcare option for you.

BOD Meeting
LFP BOD meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
The next meeting of the LFP Board of Directors will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 6PM, Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce. Meetings are open to all. Come by and see what’s happening!

Spring Break Closure
We will be closed for Spring Break. There is a sign up sheet at the sign in podium in the lobby if you are interested in childcare during the week of April 2 through April 6. A minimum of 15 children per day is required to offer this care. The fees to be charged are: $60/day; $8.20/hour for part-time. The school day will run from 8 am – 4 pm that week only.

The public is welcome to register for enrollment at Little Forest Playschool for the Summer &/or Fall 2012 sessions. Please stop by the office at LFP, 3880 Villa St to register. All registrations are handled on a first come-first serve basis. A registration fee is required at the time of registration.
